A young girl… restlessly opens the door and stares blankly
Dark silhouettes of fallen trees before her
A red, orange, pink haze illuminating the backdrop
Only to ridicule the lifeless foliage bowed down at its feet.
She takes one step forward…
Only to find her path remains the same
An infinite, tangled, unwound ball of jagged twine
Questions, the only vibrato that looms in her gut
She thinks… Time… an unrelenting maze leading to lone corners
Is there such a thing as right?
Right moment… right direction… right prescription…
The pill dizzies her judgment and unsettles her sentiments
Step two… a step back…
Her fingers clumsily meet her lips to silence the tremble
Uncertain… she pivots ignoring the burning force pulling her forward
She peers back… red, orange, pink haze quieting to a dull gray
She saw… she heard… she wanted…
She sees... she's lost…
